SEA Constituency Meeting, Indonesia, 20-21 November 2025
SEA Constituency convened a meeting in Bali on 20-21 November 2025, chaired by Ms Aishath Samiya (Alternate Board Member) and Ms Ayu Oktariani (Vice Chair of CCM Indonesia). The meeting brought together SEA country delegates participating both in person and virtually, alongside representatives from the Audit and Finance Committee (AFC), the Global Fund Secretariat, and the South East Asia Regional Coordination Mechanism Forum (SRCMF).

Day 1 focused on follow-up from the 53rd Board Meeting, updates from the Strategy Committee and Audit and Finance Committee, preparations for the Board Leadership and Executive Director selection, and decisions on SEA Constituency leadership selection. Day 2 included a field visit to Kerobokan Prison, followed by discussions on SRCMF and GC8 considerations.

The meeting concluded with a shared commitment to strengthen regional coordination, support upcoming Board and leadership processes, and work collectively to prepare for GC8, including sustainability, transition, and cross-border priorities.

Decision on the SEA Constituency Leadership Selection

1. The SEA Constituency approves an exceptional extension of the 2024-2026 SEA Leadership term by six weeks, until 14 July 2026, to align with the timeline of the 55th Board Meeting.
2. The SEA Constituency approves the Alternate Board Member nomination for the 2026-2028 SEA Leadership term to Nepal, considering the absence of Myanmar CCM.
